Appliance Removal in Aurora, CO
That old fridge weighs 250 pounds and the delivery crew won't take it. We disconnect, load, and haul away refrigerators, washers, dryers, and water heaters — then route the metal and refrigerant to the right recycling facility.
Appliances are heavy, awkward, and most of them can't just go in your weekly trash pickup. A standard refrigerator needs two people, a dolly, and a clear path — and if it's still got refrigerant in it, there are rules about how it gets disposed of. That's where we come in.

(720) 500-1699What We Do Before We Haul
We don't just grab the fridge and run. Before we move anything, we check what's still plugged in. If your refrigerator or freezer still has food in it, we'll ask you to clear it out first — or we can bag it up for you. If a water line is connected to the back, we'll shut off the valve and disconnect it carefully so you don't end up with a wet floor.
For washers and dryers, we disconnect the power, gas line if it's a gas dryer, and the vent hose. We don't do new installations — but we'll get the old unit unhooked and out of the way so your new appliance delivery goes smooth. If you're not sure how to disconnect something safely, just leave it and let us handle it when we arrive.
Once it's loaded, we don't just dump it. Refrigerators and freezers go to a certified facility that properly captures and recycles the refrigerant — you can't legally put that in a landfill. Washers, dryers, stoves, and water heaters get hauled to a scrap metal recycler where the steel and copper get pulled out and reused. It's the right way to do it, and it keeps heavy metal out of the ground.

What You Can Do to Prepare
You don't have to do much — that's the whole point of hiring us. But a couple of things help the job go faster. If it's a fridge or freezer, try to empty it out before we arrive. If there's stuff piled in front of the appliance in your garage or laundry room, clearing a path saves us time and saves you money on the labor.
If you're not comfortable shutting off a gas valve or disconnecting a water line, don't worry about it — just tell us when you book and we'll come prepared with the right tools. We'd rather you leave it alone than risk a gas leak or a flooded laundry room.
A Real Job: Tower Point Fridge & Dryer Swap
A homeowner in the Tower Point neighborhood near Buckley Space Force Base was upgrading to a new French-door refrigerator and a high-efficiency dryer set. The big-box delivery crew would drop off the new units but wouldn't haul the old ones. We came out the same morning, shut off the water line behind the fridge, disconnected the gas line on the old dryer, and loaded both units in about 20 minutes. The old fridge still ran, so we dropped it at a local charity that refurbishes appliances for families in need. The dryer was dead, so it went to the scrap recycler. The homeowner had a clean laundry room and an empty kitchen niche ready for the new delivery that afternoon.
